What: Kisame giving away four kitties that were dropped off at his doorstep.

(ooc: this takes place around half an hour after Sasuke leaves with his. i just wanted to play gaara opposite kisame :3)

Finding the apartment was easy, since not all of them had large fish painted on the sides of the building. Gaara had set out from home on foot, and had stopped by the local pet store. He had probably just missed seeing Sasuke in the same store, since he purchased a bed, a litter box, and since he was trying to save for a de-sexing he bought a flea collar rather then the drops.

Gaara had enquired with the store owner about a place that de-sexes cats for cheap, and she recommended a near by animal shelter that does it fairly cheaply. Taking the details, Gaara had set off to find Kisame's apartment.

He knocked at the door and waited, shopping bag in his hand. Gaara took a moment to wonder what it would be like, to have his own pet. Temari had her ferret, which had a habit of breaking free of his cage and crawling around Gaara's belongings. To be needed by someone, even a kitten, was an interesting prospect to the red head.

Well that was one cat out of his hair, thank goodness. Sasuke's visit was rather pleasant and he felt satisfied seeing how happy the kitten was in Sasuke's arms when they both left. Now just three more to go.

After hearing another knock, he opened it, kind of hoping it wasn't the kid coming back, not wanting the little animal. But he was relieved when a red head with lots of dark rings under his eyes greeted him. This kid really looked like he could use some rest, forget some, make it a lot of rest. But Kisame didn't want to mettle in and just let the kid do what he came here for.

"Hello Gaara-sama, you must be here for the cat. Please come in."

Gaara tilted his head back and stared up at Kisame, who was much taller then he thought he was. Granted he didn't really come with an idea on how tall he was.. but Kisame was very tall. To Gaara, at least. But he nodded his head. "Yes. Thank you."

He walked into the apartment and spotted the kittens, three of which were batting each other around the ears, mewling loudly and generally being hyperactive furballs with legs. "..any idea why someone would dump them on your doorstep?" Gaara asked as he walked around the kittens, and crouched to observe them for a moment.

Gaara had seen that Sasuke was interested in one, and given there had been five in the photo and only three here he wondered what happened to the other. But he worked that out when he saw the box they had been initially dumped in by the couch, that one other kitten sat inside watching its siblings tumble around.
