Karin heard Zaku's bawls, her defense kicking in and wanting to do whatever she could for him to make him happy and safe, but it was counteracted with her own need to release all the pent up energy she had inside, "It's ok, really. You needed to yell at me. I was the one to blame after all. I'm the one who's sorry!" She stopped her sobbing whines and tried to calm down a little, having this new fear of doing anything to anger or let Zaku down again, and she leaned her head against his as they held each other. "Don't say such things about yourself, Zaku. You didn't do anything wrong, ok? And you didn't let me down... because I was too worried that I let you down."

Zaku tried to clear his head because her words made him realize that they really were on the same page. It was a comforting feeling... and his crying cleared up a little more... "...okay..." he said, relieved, but still didn't move from his position. He was still feeling terrible, but at least now things could only improve... though he still refused to let go of her... "...I forgive you so stop worrying... all you do is worry..."

With that, Karin managed a little chuckle. She did worry a lot and say a lot of things to try and stop from inconveniencing people outside of this house. She took the hands that held onto him, softly rubbing his back, "Fine, fine. I'll try my best." She sniffled and let out a short, soft sigh, feeling better with Zaku back in her arms, "At least let me tell you... how scared I've been... thinking I might have lost you for good." It was only when she thought about repeating her story about leaving when the dryer finished that she realized the dryer hadn't been going for a few minutes now. She smiled, not worried any more about it, and stayed where she was, held in his arm.
