What: TenTen's aunt is in the hospital and Lee rushes over to comfort her. With Ice cream! (And secretly be comforted too >>; <<; )

All TenTen really wanted to do was lay in bed and stare at the ceiling, thinking about absolutely nothing. But moping in bed invited thoughts of death and cancer and Neji, which were topics that she wasn't ready to think about yet. She wasn't even sure if she would be ready to talk about her Aunt to Lee. The brunette grimaced at how heavy her limbs felt as she swung her legs over the edge of her bed and headed to the bathroom.

Honestly, her reflection didn't surprise her. Her long carmel hair was in tangles, but thankfully her eyes weren't bloodshot yet. Her nose was a little red and her pajamas were crumpled and too short, but TenTen didn't care. She chose to brush her teeth and wash her face; even if Lee was her friend, she didn't need to look like an absolute monster.

Deciding to wait outside for Lee she walked softly over to the door and opened it. Her enthusiastic friend was already bounding up the steps. TenTen smiled for the first time since she woke up. He was getting faster. He looked a little upset too. Seeing her state reflected on her best friend brought on a sudden rush of empathy, and she flung her arms around the boy, holding him close.

"Thanks for coming Lee."
