Who: Sai, Suigetsu, and possibly Sasori and Deidara, if they wants to make an appearance to make sure they aren't destroying things.
When: Monday, after school.
What: Suigetsu decides to look into Art Club, since Sai told him he may be able to poke things with pointy objects.
Where: The art classroom.
Warnings: Possible swearing, modeling, penis

Satisfied that he had done what he needed to do to get the boy to stay around, Sai returned to his painting. He analyzed his palette carefully, then looked down at one of the tubes, sighing slightly--the brown was nearly gone and he needed to finish the trunk of the tree today, before the paint dried, otherwise it would look all gobby and weird... He squeezed as much out of the tube as he could, crimping and rolling and re-rolling until he'd squeezed out every particle of paint he was going to get. It was going to have to be enough. Taking his palette knife, he deftly caught up a bit of it and mixed it with some gray, the color turning a bit more ashy to go along with the rest of the tree dominating the painting.

Thankfully, this time he wasn't in that state when Suigetsu spoke. "Hmm?" He glanced over at the boy, and had to hold back an odd look at how he was playing with the charcoal. "Inspiration?" Now that was a good question. Unfortunately, Sai could never match a good question with a good answer.

"I don't know," he admitted. "I guess most of my paintings come from dreams. When I'm drawing, it's usually just whatever is in front of me." He carefully left out any mention of his picture book, as he returned to his painting. When he finished the trunk of the tree he would have to let it dry, then he could start on the foliage. Maybe once he got to that point he could sit down with this new kid and teach him the proper way to use charcoal.
