A Bit Of Background

About the cultural background in the RP:

Assume, when playing, that the world is geographically the same as the Naruto world. Also assume that it is a victim of British Imperialism or somesuch, and the sun never sets on two pints of cider.

Also assume, when playing, that the area the RP takes place used to be, at some point, a thickly Japanese culture. Especially in ninja villages in the Fire Country, and in the school and its' surrounding fixtures. Therefore, you can presume any combination of Japanese and British cultures. You can have ramen and chips, if you fucking want to, yo. Work under the understanding that the older a character is, the more 'Japanese' they are likely to be in behavior, as opposed to British. You'd be more likely to find the youngsters running around in jumpers and trousers than a haori and geta. The staff, on the other hand...

Note also plz that the storyline has Pottery elements, but the school is not secret. As in Naruto, ninjas are a known if esoteric part of the military of all countries. The secret is the LOCATION of the school. Note also that, in the game's terms, kunoichi aren't that third person on every team, as of yet. There are only a few kunoichi, and Tsunade is working to change this in the future.

ART NOTE: I'm going to be doing some sketches of the uniform tonight, and some other things, because visualization = y. If anybody wants a sketch of their character in uniform or in 'mission' attire, feel free to slap a comment here with a description of any important parts about the appearance of the character (IE: my Hidan leaves his tie undone and his shirt untucked, unless currently being corrected for it). This goes DOUBLE for characters w/significant changes in age or appearance.
