It's a semi-religious holiday where I'm from.

You mean like Halloween? What do you do on Christmas?

Christmas is a holiday where everyone gives presents to another, and there's a tree that we decorate. It's supposed to celebrate the birth of Jesus, but that gets lost sometimes.

Last Christmas it was just me and Dorothy and Miss Une, and Miss Une insisted we celebrate Christmas the way she did when she was a girl.

We had a large breakfast, exchanged gifts, and had a good time for the most part. We had to go to a large party that night, too.

Most of the parties I go to back home have different drinks for children and adults.
