I think I must be the only person in the world to discover just how GREAT David Bowie is at age 25 in the year 2006... But this is coming from someone who just yesterday bought her first cellphone, so yeah... (btw, there is an alarming lack of Bowie ringtones, pffffff)
It was Valentine's day and Konnie-chan was, of course, depressed and brooding. It wouldn't have been Valentine's day if she hadn't been, really. So she went to buy a few CD's with loads of illegal MP3's. She bought Blur and the Beach Boys (yes, the Beach Boys, so?) and James Taylor (again, so?) and Enya and, well, if you bought five, the fifth was for free so I thought (sudden switch to the first person, I know) why not give Bowie a try?
I was blown out of my mind. All his 80's stuff I have never been much of a fan of, but I had no idea... I mean, there's a whole decade before the 80's and I just didn't know what I was missing!! The guy is a fucking GENIUS! I am totally in love with him now and I'll listen to anything, even Lets dance, just to hear his voice. I love him, I love him I LOVE HIM!!
