"I got a C"
I'm at an interesting point in my life... I just gave my first ever semester exam in Algebra...
One of my students who I work with after school alot came to study and find out her exam grade... I corrected her exam in front of her and we discussed her mistakes... When all was said and done she got a 70%... ... when I told her her grade I watched her eyes grow big while it processed and she shouted "I got a C" like she had just heard that she was a millioniare... (before I was a teacher she had a 25% on Algebra) She then ran out of my room to tell her mother and ran back into my class with a gift shouting "Merry Christmas" she gave me purse night light... i dont think Courtny knows that her 70% means far more to me than that gaudy night light... and Courtny does not know that i almost cried when I read her her grade because I have NEVER been so proud of a student before in my life...
