X_X . Embarrassing........it really was. You know what? I did some embarrassing stuff in home-group. Oh man, there was this ice-breaker ('games' in home-group language) where you will need to make the other person from the other group laugh. Boy was I getting anxious. To tell you something, I am not the type who makes people laugh easily. Maybe my friends, but, telling a joke and all sorts when the other person will be trying his/her best not to laugh, it just becomes hard.......>.> . So, ya know what? Something unexpected happened. Before I tell you, since I am posting about hg yesterday, I'll tell you almost everything about it, neh? ^-^.
So, the first two 'contestants' would be......ah, Gi-Won and Han-Bi. Two close Korean friends. Yeah, I guess both the groups purposely made them compete with each other, hehe. :p . Gi-Won, especially, was controlling his laugh. He was just laughing quite a bunch, you know. Haha, and he's in my group, to note. ^-^;. So, Han-Bi let Gi-Won take the lead of making him laugh. Unfortunately, Gi-Won talked in Korean, so we didn't understand A THING. He was talking, maybe about 4 sentences? And Han-Bi at last couldn't fight his laugh, so, yeah, we ALMOST got a point for that, before they all changed the rules. In the end, Han-Bi won in his turn when he said, "Your face look like gorilla." in Korean, Gi-Won laughed. I think it was because Gi-Won was so tickly that day that he laughed so easily, haha. ^o^.
Next, girls fight! Haha, not really. Ashleigh and Jocelyn Tan (my friend is Jocelyn Phang, the mastermind behind this ice-breaker...;_;). Boy, it was so quiet! Too quiet until the groups needed to switch players, hahahaha. ^o^. Next, Kevan and Jocelyn (still Tan). Oh man, before the game started, they all were laughing, and then Jocelyn pointed at Kevan's chest and said, "There got 'bulu', right?". 'Bulu' in Malay means fur, but, well, we all know what it means in this case, right? I was like wondering what Kevan was really feeling about that....>.< . Well, um, the game started, and Kevan was the one to begin. He commented on her looks, saying stuff like, "Oh, look at those lips. Angelina Jolie.", hahaha, but, Jocelyn didn't laugh, ^_~. When it was Jocelyn's turn, she pretended to 'peek' into Kevan's shirt, and at the end, she said something like,
"You keep one ah? Very nice ah.", yeah, something like that.....>.>. Good thing he didn't laugh, though, haha. Next, I actually forgot what he did, haha. ^o^. Anyways, I remembered Jocelyn's. She was like those shy people who said "Hi". You know, touching the floor, and then, "Hi, hehe". And slowly going forward? Oh man, sorry if I am not making sense, but mind you, it wasn't anything close to indecent. Kevan played with her by lifting his hands up every time she said hi, you know, indicating a reply? So, yeah, that was actually quite funny. ^-^. Kevan didn't laugh. Ok, next, Kevan did the same thing, but his was faster and was an example of what she did. He added something at the end, but, I forgot. ^-^;. This part of the game ended with a tie, and lead the same 'fate' as the second one, haha. We switched players again. ^-^. Next was John VS Shah Wei. John said something about not taking to heart his about-to-come joke, so, yeah, he started off with something which sounded slightly (very slightly) like a rap and there were some mean stuff uttered. Couldn't really hear the end, but Shah Wei lost, haha.
Next.....ME?! Oh no! I had to 'fight' Chave again. Yeah, before the hgs reshuffled hg members, I was in a different group, and they were having this exact ice-breaker. That time, I was facing Chave like I am now. That time, she didn't laugh, and I think she was having a bad mood, so, yeah, it was crazy awkward..........Now, um, I was a bit unsettled with it, but had to go with facing Chave. In my turn, I took the courage to make a type of face which my second brother taught me when I was around 5. Yeah, it was some modified funny face thingy. She didn't laugh! But she did after my part ended. She then did something imitating a water like action. Reminded me of those anime/manga characters, where when they are lazy, and their hands all turn wriggly. It was somehow easy to not laugh, hoho! Cheers for me! ^o^. So, next, haha, was my turn. I told her one funny comic I found in the Star Newspaper, Insanity Streak.
A Tyrannosaurus Rex was having dinner with the others.
They were like,
(And I folded my elbow to make my hands look short. I waved my right hand)
"Pass the salt"
(x3)
X_X *_* =_= O_O @_@
It was sooooo embarrassing! Everybody was quiet too, until,
Bwahahahahahaha!
Everybody laughed together including Chave. I was wondering whether I won or not (because there's the 10 seconds time limit), and Kevan nodded. Haha, I was relieved, but it was still embarrassing......But actually, Chave didn't laugh at the joke, she laughed because she didn't understand the joke......>.> . Oh man.......
Lastly, came my brother and Hau Ming. They both tried to make each other laugh, but they didn't, haha. Shah Wei suggested, "You're so beautiful.", and note that both of them are guys, but Hau Ming didn't laugh, hahahaha. ^o^. When my bro's turn came again, I suggested, "Timottei~ Timottei~ Timottei!". Well, Lucky Star fans would understand, haha. But Hau Ming didn't laugh! Grr.....X_X. If I remember correctly, the ice-breaker ended there, but my group got a punishment of singing, "Amazing Grace" because we lost, but it wasn't hard, hoho~ ^o^

During testimony time, Chave announced her wonderful future study plan which all started from her accepted scholarship application. ^_~. Ganbatte, Chave! ^o^. So, um, yeah, you know where she's going to further her studies? JAPAN! The anime/manga kingdom! Oh man, I just wished I were her, but hopefully, if God plans it to be, I'll be MAYBE going to Japan, because I plan to study there too. ^_~.
Oh no, now I don't know why my post seems to be getting long and mundane.....>.>. Argh, I'll just continue this for the sake of looking back into my memories when I am older. ^_~.
So, later we had some nice worship + praise. Came up next was again the voting for the home-group bonding (yeah, starting from now, I am going to call that hg-bonding, haha), and at last, we settled for dinner + gift hunt + bowling in Times Square. Yeah, I know it's tight, hehe. :p . Jocelyn and Ashleigh didn't quite like the gift hunt, I think. Maybe it was because it sounded boring to them? Oh, but I love it, even though I haven't done it before. I guess this is where human interests vary. ^-^;.
Anyways, After the whole thing, I was discussing with Chave about Japan and what I have planned for my future studies and discovered that the One Academy's level had lowered. I was actually planning to save costs on travel and stay in the campus while I studied there in the future, but, haha, maybe not after this conversation. ^-^;. Later, I discovered something too. I have a feeling it's one of God's plan. I don't know how, but I just had the feeling it was. She said something like, DaDesigns. I don't know how you spell it, but she said something around the corner. Well, going back to the conversation, DaDesigns apparently is growing, and it's near TAR!!! Whereas One Academy is in PJ.....So, yeah! Isn't that just great? I later got to know too that even not going through Form 6, I can still get a foundation (is that what they call it? It has something to do with scholarship), and she told me that they will give that foundation thingy to people taking drawing courses. Yay for me! ^o^
Well, I guess that's it for that day. Bo-bye now, oh waits, I am going to post about today's experience. ^_~. Wait up if you're reading this now! (5:32 p.m. 24th May 2008)
