LJ Qs: Friends and acquaintences
Ooh, this question, eh. I was thinking about this some time ago too, hehe. ^-^. What differentiates between the two is that, to me, obtaining a friend is having about 4-6 sentenced conversation with that person, and he/she will be counted as a friend. But, the conversation shouldn't be those just for asking questions about studies or anything, but those conversations friends have with friends. ^_^. Acquaintances, well, are people whom I didn't talk to a lot, so when they happen to pass, I'll just smile. Not that I don't smile to my friends, but, just a smile. With a friend, it's a smile and a "Bye" or "Hello", hahaha. ^o^.
An acquaintance becoming the other, um, that's easy, isn't it? Have conversations lasting from 4-6 sentences or more, haha! Yeah, it's just that easy. But, for a friend to become an acquaintance, I don't think that's really possible. Since you've already known that friend, how can he/she be an acquaintance? Isn't that funny? But, if it's a case of me who stopped being friends with a person, I'll just call that not-friend (yeah, sounds funny in this way), not acquaintance because I think it's improper. ^-^.
