See? I'm posting. :| Have a lame con report.
Apparently I don't post enough, but there's really nothing to talk about, except whining about school, which I'm sure no one wants to read. XD Just ask me if you want to know what's going on/why I've disappeared.
Phone was dead for a week, got a replacement right before ALA. I'll be getting a laptop as soon as I return to school. c: So if I've missed calls or messages from anyone, you know why now. >_>;;
Speaking of which, I'll be leaving for school tomorrow. I'm so not ready to go back. I don't have the energy or inclination to study again...ugh. I also didn't hang out with a lot of people, WHICH IS LAME. Sewing ate my social life. 8| I spent nearly all my break with itsukayume and kikyouluver sewing like mad. Thank you Jennifer for teaching me how to pattern properly~~ :3 (and making my Zidane gloves when I was going crazy attempting to make shoes….lol)

Met some awesome new people, saw people I haven't seen in forever, and had awesome roomies who kept me from starving with food and a microwave. *A* Needless to say, I loved my room. Thanks to Sojian, derishnol, naoekun and super_no_1 for humoring me and taking pictures (and other people that I can't remember XD). ♥!
Friday
Ganta: Lesson learned. Butt seams are very important to movement. Being accurate to the art is sometimes overrated. =_= Jennifer knows how stubborn I was about seams and stuff. XD; Also, this outfit is not flattering...damn prison uniform. Pleasantly surprised that people recognized us. :D Some guy called me 'jailbait'... Overall, a weird, but interesting outfit to make. Yay being forced to think creatively. >_> The nice thing about this outfit was that I felt like I improved in sewing skills since last year, since I don't think I could've made it well before~ Yay progress~
LOL SURPRISE for sani_caranza at night, just 'cause I wanted to see her expression. :D Thanks to kikyouluver and fullmetaltora for helping~ She owes me her soul now, hurhurhur.
By Friday night, I had 40 minutes of sleep for two days...and the previous days I didn't have much sleep to begin with. Needless to say, I was incoherent and probably said stupid crap. I was fading in and out during the drive...so uh...I don't really remember my conversation with itsukayume. aha. |D;;; Started losing my voice by night time, but didn't think anything of it. Accidentally fell asleep with contacts on, and didn't get any cosplay work done. =_=;

Woke up with 8 hours asleep and croaky voice, but I was still effing tired. Walked around as Switzerland with itsukayume as my really cute Liechtenstein. I can't wait to do a photoshoot with you~ ♥ ♥ ♥ APH gathering was ridiculously loud and chaotic, so we eventually just left. XD Fun photoshoot times with naoekun and super_no_1, whom put up with my weak self as I picked Jennifer up a million times. |D;; turntableaurora made a cute Liech and amandier was also really cute as Iceland~~ *steals* >>
Tortured myself for 3-4? hours ghettoing finishing essential parts to Zidane's outfit. Wanted to strangle myself and kill Zidane. Thanks to my roomies for putting up with me sitting in the middle of the room, grumbling and cursing to myself as I worked. |D;; I almost chucked Zidane out the window...ugh. I hope to have some things remade, and some things actually made for another con. He has too many details...I can't believe I forgot to wear his ribbon. just...LDSKFHG. Some stuff got damaged in transportation too. bleh. This whole stupid thing has been torture. Finding the right colors for the wig and fabrics was ridiculous and I drove everyone (including myself) nuts trying to find/choose something. ^^;;

sani_caranza didn't have time to finish Garnet's dress, so I coerced her to throw together something~ But she'll finish soon, yeah? *stare* A photographer asked us to pose like so (thank you Sani for being a contortionist...makes life easier XDDD), and what's cool was that he recognized her despite her not having Garnet's actual outfit. :3 I also love the pics he took.

Misao was awesomely comfy and not high maintenance except for the bandages, which are annoying like whoa. Poor kikyouluver had to fix them multiple times...sooo I'm gonna figure out how to fix that. The arm guards were more annoying and time consuming to make than I expected. =_=
I had a sexy Aoshi. Needless to say, I was very very happy. XD It's...different cosplaying a really happy character, and a girl at that, but super fun to act all 8D. aheh. Stef is normally one of the nicest people I know, but her cosplaying Aoshi turned her into a MEANIE FACE. Whatever, we all know Aoshi has a weak spot for her anyway. :|
