Goodbye....

Hard to believe it't already here, the last night in my dorm room. I know most will agree when I say that this year has gone by soooo quickly. I can't believe I'm already done with my freshmen year in college. Where does the time go? My parents have always said that time goes by faster when you get older, but I didn't realize till now how right they were. Wow, has it been a pretty good year or what? If not that at least interesting. As I pack up my things I'm excited yet sad at the same time. I'm anxious to see everyone back in Louisiana since I haven't see them in awhile, but I'm also going to thoroughly miss everyone here in Auburn. I've been so fortunate to meet as many wonderful people as I have in just one year's time; my first year in Alabama would not have been the same without everyone. I do now know what I would have done without all of you. Well, I would have been pretty bored, that's for certain. :) Although I'm sad, I know in just three short months we'll all be back here ready for another school year and marching season. Is it pathetic that I'm excited about football and marching season already? Nah. Anyway, I am pretty happy about going back to Bossier, especially to see Sally, Carrie, and anyone else along the way. I'm more than ready to catch up with everyone from good ol' AHS. I think more than that I'm ready to be around my family again. Although I'll have to share a bathroom with my two sister's (better than in the dorm), I'm ready to spend some quality time with my family. Oh, and the home cooked meals will be nice, also. I'll never turn down those.
Even though finals suck big time, the best part about the end of the semester is knowing that you'll never have to take that certain course again (in most cases). Take for instance Organismal Biology. The most important thing I learned in that class was that I should never be a biology major, period. Same goes for English Comp. Both were horrid. I just hope my classes this summer and next fall aren't too bad. Yes, I said summer classes. Unfortunately, I have to spend all of June at lovely Bossier Parish Community College. Along with that, I'll be starting a job (where? I'll find out soon). Oh, well. At least I'll get some courses out of the way and be making some cash at the same time. Not too shabby. Work and classes are pretty much how I'll be spending my summer. I also hope to get a little more fluent in my code writing/html writing capabilities. That'll actually be the fun part of my summer. Oh, and of course I'll try my best to make a trip over to Auburn to visit everyone. Its definitely in the plans, we'll just have to see if it all works out.
Well, its late and I have my bio final tomorrow, so I'm off to bed. This is my last entry until I get home and settled in, so don't expect an entry again very soon (not like I update as frequently as I should anyway). I'll do my best to keep you updated on my exciting life during the summer. haha Take care everyone; have a safe and awesome summer!
