Despite the fact that I was not expecting much from X3: The Last Stand
Despite the fact that in spite of this, I was looking forward to the third movie because I enjoyed the first two, and didn't think they could really do much wrong with the premise
Despite the fact that I went into the theater with the mindset that I would be okay with the story no matter how far the story deviated from canon
Despite the fact that Kelsey Grammer is nearly always a shining light in even the darkest pits of entertainment (when he isn't feeding his coke habit)
Despite the fact that Ben Foster as Angel is completely tap-worthy, six ways from sunday
And, despite the fact that the movie was mercifully short
X3: The Last Stand is undoubtedly:
The WORST X-Men Movie of the three
The WORST comic book movie I have seen, trumping even The Punisher (because at least we got to see John Travolta dragged kicking and screaming through a field of exploding cars)
The WORST movie I have seen in recent history
Possibly, the worst movie I have EVER seen
The BIGGEST slap in the face to anyone who will ever call themselves an X-Men fan, as well as a big slap to anyone who calls themself a movie fan
and the BIGGEST moviegoing disappointment I have ever had.
I have NEVER asked for my money back before after seeing a shit movie, EVER.
Davy Jones' Locker, you had better not let me down too.
