eltea is amazing and wonderful and JUST SO DARNED ADORABLE! *dances* I've just got back from staying the night with her down in Oxford and she really is just such a dear. I had ever such a lovely time!
Oxford itself is gorgeous, and, yes, she truly is ever such a great hostess and an utter sweetheart. We wandered around, I dragged her out for food, and she put up with my rambling with a smile. Plus her side of the conversation was so funny and intelligent!
Yes, I'm ranting and rambling, and
eltea, dear, I'm sorry, because if you read this, well, you seem very much the modest type, but... OH! I had such a good time.
CANNOT WAIT FOR IRELAND.
NO. SERIOUSLY. I CAN'T. *cries*
She got me to watch the BBC and RSC version of Hamlet with David Tennant and Patrick Stewart, which I have been meaning to watch for ages but never really got around to (plus I was going to watch it in blocks, and, well, NO). It was amazing and wonderful and utterly brilliant.
As was speculating on John Barrowman's (Captain Jack's) suitability and potential as Ophelia.
The singing. *dies laughing* Plus, whether he would wake up buring the grave scene. XD
The journey home was ok, just very long, and with some rather annoying individuals. The first train was quite crowded, but the second train was nearly empty. And, yet, for some strange reason a group of rather overly chatty women with lots of bags and boxes that they just HAD to keep with them decided to surround me. It became impossible for me to so much as twitch for over 2 hours. Darnit.
Home is awkward. Still frosty and just... Yeah. I'm sure you can guess the situation quite well. *sigh*
I will catch up with all of you darlings tomorrow, I'm afraid. After the ridiculous train journey and awkward time with the parents, I really just need to SLEEP.
Love you, lovely people. I hope you're all healthy and happy...
