Fun!
I stole two things from people. 1 is a survey from Sara and 1 is a picture tribute to the memories of 2006 from Steph! Hurrah!
So first of all is the New Years
1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
Many things... Oh boy.. But mainly: Went on a roadtrip with Jason to Gaspe, New Brunswick and PEI which was awesome. As well as stay on jason's boat for 3 days. Oh! And I saw the lantern festival which was beautiful! Oh and I got a tattoo!!!
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for 2006?
I can't remember if I made a New Years resolution last year but this year my resolutions are: To be more easy-going and to be more independant!
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Not that I can think of at the moment.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Yes, someone I was friends with in cegep.
5. What countries did you visit?
Just places in Canada which is where I live ;D
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
More courage, more independance and to travel further than North America.
7. What dates from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
I have sooo many... So many things I do with Jason are just amazing! But here we go: Roadtrip with Jason, Going to Jason's boat, hanging out with my cousin Shawna and going to Gaspe, AN2006 and finally going to Saint Sauveur with Jason for a few days of vacation time and skiing! ^^
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I'd have to say I've grown a lot as a person and also, I passed all 7 classes this past semester and I got an 80%(so far) overall average. The so far is because it may possibly increase after talking to a certain teacher. hehe!
And I also made a lot of new friends which I was scared I wouldn't be able to do.
9. What was your biggest failure?
My insecurities and letting my stubborness get the best of me.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Well, I get sick often but mostly just colds and I hurt my neck skiing but that's it! yay!
11. What was the best thing you bought?
I really don't know. The best things I payed for are the road trip and the skiing trip... but otherwsie probably clothes. ^^hehe
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Hmm... I don't know... Jason's family mostly likely.
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
I don't really wanna bother saying it
14. Where did most of your money go?
Probably to food... sadly. Hehe! And clothes.. and hotels and trips. Boo! Everything is so expensive!
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Mine and Jason's roadtrip and this Christmas vacation because I was able to see Jason a LOT! yay!
16. What song will always remind you of 2006?
It's hard to think off the top of my head.. but here are a few:
Immortal, Land of Confusion, Just Stop, Trust... that's all I can think of right now.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) Happier or sadder? Happier! ^^ Much happier!
b) Thinner or fatter? Well, right now I've probably gained a few pounds by indulging over the holidays, hehe! Usually I'm the same though.
c) Richer or poorer? Definitely Poorer...
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Spend more time with Keera, make even more friends, see friends more, see Jason more and learned more Japanese.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Being upset over stupid things, not have stayed home instead of going out
20. How did you spend Christmas?
With Jason and his family and My family.. it was a very happy Christmas! ^^
21. Did you fall in love in 2006?
I fall in love with Jason over and over again all the time! aww!
22. How many one-night stands?
none
23. What was your favourite TV program?
Heroes!!! and I've been watching House and Gray's Anatomy
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Nah... I don't feel at this moment that I hate anyone. Forgiveness is nice!
25. What was the best book you read?
Damn I don't know... I liked: The Celestine Prophecy, Odd Thomas and Velocity!
26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
I haven't really had a great musical discovery but I found out I like a lot of Adema's songs and a lot of Jason's music, lol!
27. What did you want and get?
Time to spend with Jason! YAY! And... FFXII... and being able to go on vacations! w00t!
28. What did you want and not get?
Well, the a number of things I want, I just don't ever expect to get them. If I want them, I'll get them myself one day! :D
29. What was your favourite film of this year?
So far I believe the Chronicles of Narnia but I can't remember if that was 2005... oh well!
30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I'm now 20 years old! And on my Birthday I skipped my afternoon class and went to take pictures of the lake on a beautiful day! Had cake with family and Jaosn took me out to supper at Laperle! MMM! For my party I got my friends together at Clydes and it was an awesome time! ooh ya!
31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Well, not immensely but I wish I could have seen Jason more during the past 4 months. But I couldn't really ask for more because I feel so happy lately and I've had a good time!
32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?
Dude... I don't know. I have okay clothes.. wish I could afford more atm... but I guess usualy jeans/capris with tanktops and shirts... so not very fashionable but alright.
33. What kept you sane?
My Kitten, my friends(thank you) and Jason! ^^
34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Bah celebrities... I like Johnny Depp I guess... too bad Heath Ledger is balding. :p
35. What political issue stirred you the most?
nothing.. I don't like politics :p
36. Who did you miss?
Sara, a bunch of old friends and Jason... :p
37. Who was the best new person you met?
Veronica! cause she's cool! And we took Aikido together! Go Veronica!
38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2006:
Sometimes you really have to forgive and move on. Life is too short to be upset and/or angry. And that happiness really isn't all that hard to acheive! Also, that friends are great and so are boyfriends! ;D
