The 11th Heisei Rider Series!!

I can't keep all this excitement in so I'm gonna blog XD So yeah I saw pics of the new Kamen Rider Double (W) and I was like "uh... okay..." not totally fond of the design but I'm sure it'll somehow grow on me. So I then I was on Facebook and Bobby posted that Kamiki Aya will be singing the theme song (with TAKUYA) for this new series and I was so happie happie!! I know people probably don't pay much attention when I blog half the time but I've written about her before because she's my favorite female j-rock artist. Most of these female j-rock artists are pretty much overshadowed by the males and the bands =/ so I'm very excited that she will be given this chance to sing the theme song ^_^

Aside from that, upon reading threads about the new series, I found out Kiriyama Renn will be in the lead role!!! This will be his first time doing a tokusatsu series. I'm sure this will be a very new and exciting experience for him. He's usually seen doing stage work, j-dramas, and j-movies. My own opinion... it can't get any worse than Inoue Masahiro. I don't even know how Inoue landed the lead role for Decade. He can't act in toku and he definitely can't act in Tenimyu. Not trying to be mean but how in the world can you land a lead role without like any prior experience O.o But anyway, Renn does have experience and I'm glad people aren't bashing them like they did to poor Aiba Hiroki T_T I think Aiba-kun pretty much proved people wrong in Shinkenger, tackling a totally different character than say his usual prince-ly roles.

I'm not enjoying Decade. I didn't like what they did to it from the start. I thought it had a lot of potential but after so many changes, I just wasn't enjoying it. I think the only way to really get through the series is to really just marathon it a few episodes at a time. Kiva was a bit of a downer as well with so many holes in the storyline. So right now I'm really hoping that this new Kamen Rider series will be bigger and better than the two prior series.
