Lights On or... Run for the Ice!
I finally got power back around 6pm yesterday _o_ I haven't had power since afternoon Sunday. I was hella bored to death but thankfully I had my DS, my Cowon A3, my laptop, and my cellphone to keep my company. Many people are still without power T_T My store didn't lose electricity so it was one of the only places around town for people to go for provisions and my gawd it has been stupid crazy busy. I have been working almost 10 hour shifts since this all happened and right now I'm sitting here trying to work on Code Blue's episode 11 karaoke, trying to stay focused and awake. My body is really getting to its limit. I really need to rest. All I've been doing is running around doing everything I could just to help the store. That's what everyone has been doing. We're short on help when an emergency like this happens. Eleven of the other stores totally lost electricity and so they had to clean up and remove all perishable items. That really really sucks... we're talking about at least a few million dollars that the company is taking a hit for because of this stupid wind storm. And I'm sure this is gonna affect everyone's bonuses. But anyway, at least I did something productive while the power was out. Gave me a chance to finally install the 1TB harddrive I bought a while ago. I'm totally out of space _o_ like there's 1GB on each other the drives I have it already >_< Like I told Jonnie before, installing hardware is like an operation XD at least that's the way I see it. My computer is like my pride and joy XD gotta open it up, carefully move some parts around, put the drive in, carefully plug in the right wires to the right places. Close her up and pray that everything goes well. Well I did that and then for some reason the monitor wasn't registering _o_ so I had to spend some time fiddling with that... then the 2nd harddrive didn't show up and found out the power cable came loose... then the 1st drive's power cable came loose... _o_ my gawd!!! lol but in the end... everything was sucessful ^.~
HMV is really pissing me off. I ordered Daisuke's photobook the first day it was on preorder. It was released 2 days ago...so why the heck is it taking another week and a half for them to possibly ship it to me?! -_- Maybe I should've just stuck with Amazon Japan.
Kiva 31 was totally awesome. It needs to be this awesome from now on. It's fun having someone to watch it with XD Though we were both too into it to even make any comments throughout.
Konishi-sama's movie is due out mid-January. I wonder how they plan to release it. I can't wait!!
