Help Me Choose a New Screen Name
So here's the deal. My current screen name on AIM is Dove878. I'm not all that happy with this name for a few reasons: 1.) I chose it in high school, and I'm not sure it's really me anymore. 2.) I chose it before I realized that it was kind of uncreative to add numbers on your name. 3.) I just think it's kind of boring.
So I'm ready to say goodbye to little dove and embrace a new identity. The only problem is that I can't make a decision on a new name. What, I can't make a decision? There's a shocker, huh? lol.
So, anyway, help me choose a new screen name! Here are some options:
ItsACarrot: This name makes people go, "WTF?" Which is cool, but it actually has an interesting explanation behind it, which makes it better. See in Korean, the word "of course" sounds almost the same as "It's a carrot." So part of Korean slang is to say "it's a carrot" when you want to say of course. Example: Do you love me? It's a carrot! P.S. This is in Korean, it's a carrot, they don't say It's a carrot in English.
Jensekator: This was actually JMShapyro's idea, but I kind of like it so I'm stealing it. Maybe.
VanillaJens: I wanted to say something about how I like chocolate, but Vanilla sounds better and it reminds me of Vanilla Ice, who i was obsessed with in 4th grade. (Shut up, you know you still listen to Ice Ice Baby when it comes on the radio.)
MyNameIsKJen: From My Name Is Earl, one of my new favorite shows. Well, maybe. I've only actually seen one episode, but I liked it. I'm all about karma. That Carson Daly is a fucking genius.
KTNori: My name plus a shortened version of Noraebong, which may be my favorite thing to do ever.
NoraeBongIsSweet: See above. I don't want my name to be too much about Korea, bc pretty soon I won't even be here anymore. But noraebong is something that I think I will like forever, and it does make reference to my experience here. So there you go. Oh also, this name gives the misleading impression that I'm a pothead, which is....uh interesting, I guess. I don't know.
KatieHomez: I don't really like this one, but JMShapyro suggested it and I respect his previously demonstrated title-giving ability. Yeah, it's clever, but I hate Katie Holmes and don't want to be associated with her. So don't vote for this one.
