"This is a bit late, but..." - a game related post
I got Scribblenauts and KH:358/2 Days yesterday. ^_____^
Scribblenauts: Basically, the whole premise is that you solve puzzles, but you can use practically ANYTHING. And by that, I mean ANYTHING. You just write it down and it appears in the game! (Of course, it doesn't include rude stuff or copyrighted stuff).
The best part: you can summon mythical creatures! I've already tried a dragon, mermaid, elf and a chimaera! The chimaera is pretty cool BTW ^_^. Only I'm pretty bad at solving some of them...^^;;
KH: 358/2 Days: Awesomeness! It's amazing how seamless the transition is from PS2 to DS! The panel system isn't as bad as I thought it would be, either. But equiping potions is a pain, since I run out (I only have room for 4 or so). But I'm only in Agrabah.
Before playing this, I thought Xion was a Mary Sue, but I'm not so sure now. But still, she DOES look an awful lot like Kairi (although from Wikipedia, I have a vague idea why this is).
Combat is good, but using spells is kinda...hard. So I really don't bother with it, although I didn't really use spells much either in the PS2 version. Except for Cure, Thunder and Reflect. Fire was okay in KH1, but in KH2, it doesn't even launch anymore T_T It''s like a ring around Sora. I still don't bother with Blizzard much either. And I only use Gravity in FFXII :p
Whoever says graphics on the DS is LYING. Need convincing? The opening cutscenes in this are proof enough. Sure, the PSP looks better, but the PSP line-up tends to suck outside of Japan, in my opinion (I play so many Japanese games LOL)
Sad thing is, I can't plug in like 3 hours straight, since my dad is like "I want a turn!", since he wants to play Scribblenauts. ^o^
Wait, before I get absorbed in this, I need to finish Phoenix Wright, Trials and Tribulations. Gyakuten Kenji is coming out soon!! >_<
