good deals
so i bought a 40gb ipod today through a friend of mine. one of the people he works with is in the states now and is bringing 2 of them back, one for my buddy and one for me. we both saved about 117 euro on them. crazy how on the apple site over here they are listed 449 euro, and we only pay 332 euro for them. this thing better work perfect or else, cos i don't have a lot of money as it is now with remodeling the house. but i couldn't let this opportunity pass me by. i'll be getting it the weekend after next when she returns from the states.
things i have to buy in the next few months include:
- a small tv for the bedroom, preferably a lcd one so i can hang it up against the wall
- a new couch, i'm thinking of checking out seats & sofas for that
- a new big ass tv for the living room, although i might wait a year with that, as long as my old one is still working, even though it's almost 20 years old
- 2 new lights to hang on the living room ceilings
- a new cell phone as mine is falling apart fast now. gotta load the battery every day, and it only takes a few calls for the battery to die again
needless to say i won't be saving up any money in the next few months, with all the bills that are coming in now i live on my own haha. but it's all good, we'll make it work somehow.
i'm contemplating a trip to the east coast again right after the summer. i'm thinking september, to treat myself for my birthday. nyc and nj should do the trick. maybe if BFP goes overseas again for a tour and they want me to tag along again i might do that.. who knows.
furthermore, i'm still applying for a new job, but no luck so far. it's hard finding something decent right now that pays ok.
now it's time for some tony lambrianou's book. sopranos season 5, episode 3 will be taped for tomorrow.
