ahhhh yesss...
even the comfort of just ONE acre of woods is enough for me to breathe freely again. As I sit here, on this giant overstuffed couch, with humungous windows from the floor to the ceiling showing me that acre, sunlight pouring in and warming my back.
My plans for today are the most glorious: ride my bike around the reservoir. Do my knee excersizes, abs, and arms on the porch when i get home. Take a shower in that magnificent shower. Play with the dogs in the yard. Out with some friends for lunch. Pick up booze. Return to the house, pour myself a glass of wine, get into a bathing suit, stuff my pipe with delicious amaretto tobacco, and settle on down into the hot tub. And if it's cold enough later tonight, I might build a fire in the fireplace.
Or I might just pick a huge patch on sun on the floor and lay down in it, like Daisy, Cricket, and Oscar are doing right now. looks pretty lovely.
