I kinda like The Tempest.
I mean, it's totally possible that I didn't completely understand it all, because I took a couple of days out in the middle of studying it to fight alien invaders, and I might've misheard Tim explaining it to me over the sound of rocket fire, but yeah.
It's about all these really weird people coming together on an island. Some of them even have weird powers. One of them's a fairy. Not gay. I mean, with wings and stuff. And Caliban's been made from scratch by a mad scientist, a bit like me, except I'm way better looking. If all those people had stopped wandering around trying to get laid or settle old feuds or talk funny, they could've been a superhero team.
I liked it better than Macbeth, anyway. I thought the hero was going to turn out to be a guy hatched in a test-tube, but no, his Mom just had a Caesarean. What's amazing about that? And the forest wasn't even really moving. Bummer.
