I'd hoped to write some more fic for this fest but I was away for several weeks. I may still manage to bash something else out before the end of June. It's a shame there's not more activity here - have you considered maybe extending the fest another month? I know it's supposed to be for Kon's birthday, but he's so awesome he could probably get away with having three whole months of celebrating! XD
You could also post to some Kon/DCU-related comms asking anyone whose written/draw/vidded/etc anything to do with Kon in the last two months to feel free to submit a link here. Maybe. I mean, new_justice alone must have a ton of stuff, not to mention ttk_is_hot. And I believe dcu_freeforall invite posts about other challenges besides their own...

I was thinking of extending it anyway, since I've had computer trouble and a crazy work schedule, and so haven't done very much for the comm, and there hasn't been much participation but it's like... will extending it make people participate more, or just make them fade away even more?

Good point. The optimist in me wants to say it'll help but I guess there's no guarantee. It really depends on you - if you're busy with work and don't want another month of worrying about the fest, I think it's totally reasonable to end on schedule. No need to let anything add stress to your life, especially fandom, which is supposed to be fun. ^__^

Even if you don't want to extend the fest, a post to a few comms inviting anyone who has created something Kon-related since May to share a link might be helpful - after all, it's not asking anyone to create anything new but is instead potentially giving them a wider audience for something they've already created. If you don't have time for such posts, I'm sure a member of the comm or myself would be happy to do some promoting for you. ;)
