[Karma fronting]
So, with school winding down, and the likelihood that I won't get the chance to do my Spec projects, I think I may be selling a few guns to fund something else.
What I'm considering selling
Browning A-bolt in .223 WSSM - I haven't confirmed this, as I haven't been to a range since the last time I shot this thing, but I think the long shoulder produces some cleaning issues. I.E. there's a lot of powder fouling up the chamber and causing it to be difficult to open the bolt. Or, my chamber is *really* tight. Either way, bolt actions are slightly boring to me these days. Eventually, I would like to have an AR-15 upper in the same chambering, and I don't need two .223 WSSM guns.
Remington 700 in .22-250 - I'm regretting the decision to chamber my school project gun in .22-250. Further, as stated, it's more the semi-automatics that interest me these days. Unless I decide to rebarrel this gun, I don't see a big reason to keep it.
Marlin 60 - I bought this as a Specs project, and even if I did get the chance to do Specs, it's not good for what I want it for. I've got too many .22 LR guns already.
Between these three, I can probably get about a grand, I think.
What I'm considering getting
.308 AR Platform - I'd have to settle for something like a low-end DPMS to get one for what I'll have to spend.
AR-15 Pistol Platform
Other semi-auto rifle platform (AK/Saiga, Sig 556, etc)
T/C Encore Rifle or Pistol platform
The question is: will I regret selling any of these? The Remington I could certainly see me regretting, since I put so much work into it, and won't get a third of what I'd want after all that work, but I'd be ruining the work if I rebarrel it, anyway.
