Well, fuck. I got fired at the end of today. I'm awestruck.
For anyone who may wonder, it was an issue of numbers. Having no experience in the field it has taken me a while to get rolling with leases, but I felt like I was doing really well lately and am really personable. Residents seem to like me a lot and I'm practically invaluable fixing their computers when they break down.
Sucks I just moved into a 3 bed room with Mike and Carolann and it was cool working right across the lawn from where I lived. Made eeeverything real convenient. But that's over. Over just like that. It's amazing being sat down with someone who has this heartbroken look on their face; your boss, telling you that their boss has been riding their ass about the property "going South" as a whole and she candidly said everyone's job in the grander scheme including herself is on the line with the investors coming down. Pretty wild.
I complained, but I really did love my job and the people in it. Great bunch of girls and the dudes that do the groundskeeping/maintanence are an awesome bunch. I'll miss them a lot. 8**(
So now I guess I'm just looking for another job, pulling those strings. A while back my Uncle Todd mentioned he might be able to hook me up as a game tester. I told him I wanted to be a good guy and stay with my team on the property, for one because it has given me some great experience with relations to residents and thinking on my feet. Really really happy to work at Bay Harbor as long as I did. You know they'll miss me, I'm the shiz-nit.
If nothing else I'll try to focus more on the business I've been trying to get running but haven't had the time.
P.S. Wes Joslyn is currently jobless and still has rent and car payments, if anyone would like to send their condolences and cash donations to keep him from being homeless, make contact with your friendly neighborhood Wes at 239 980 5552. Think of the children.
