(no subject)
I'm done!!!! (well, almost)
Yesterday, my Social Living teacher got an e-mail saying that my application for credit restoration was ACCEPTED!!! (And then I got a paper sent to me 3rd pd saying the same thing)
I took my final in that class yesterday also. I know I passed it and I'm pretty sure I got no less than an 85% on it, I'm hoping it's in the 90's.
I have to watch 2 movies today and write about the mental disorders portrayed in the movies for extra credit. I've got 'As Good As It Gets' (OCD) and 'A Beautiful Mind' (Schizophrenia). I have to turn it in by 3pm tomorrow (Friday) to get the extra credit.
When my teacher looked at my grade yesterday, I have a C in the class!!! That's come a long way from being a major F. That's just the quarter grade. My semester grade is still too low to pass because I got an F last quarter, but my teacher still has to check in some late work I turned in and grade my test and add the extra credit I'm going to turn in, and she says that I'll definately pass if I get the extra credits done.
YAY!!!
I've tried so hard in the past few weeks to bring that grade up and it's paid off!
