WoowW....This is my first entry to post on LJ and i'm so excited^^
I love reading manga, listening music and watching film. But since my Japanese skills is so limited, I prefer to read them in English. Or Indonesian, because I’m an Indonesian native.
I read manga since 90's and collect them which published in Indonesian (by our local publisher: Elex Media Komputindo, Level Comics, and m&c).
Lately, after I joined Facebook on April 2010, I found a lot of friends and love reading mangas too....Some of them recommend me to read Yaoi mangas....My first time read and taste of Yaoi when I read Finder series by Ayano Yamane and Haru Wo Daite Ita by Nitta Youka, I rather shocked when find an picture about two guys doing 'H' things. and I'm not disgust at all rather my heart beating fast and I became enjoying watching each picture, with my hungry eyes. My adventure's with yaoi its no end at all, it become addicted to me and later on I found manga Under Grand Hotel by Mika Sadahiro,Blue Sheep Reverie by Makoto Tateno, Love Control by Ai Hasukawa,Tea For Two by Sakuragi Yaya, etc.
From google and my friends then i find the scanlators website, Aarin Fantasy, Mangafox, Live Journal, etc.
Because of that reason, since June 2012 I begin to buy Yaoi manga in English language from foreign publisher because it wouldn’t have the chance to be published in Indonesian (because of the content, Indonesian’s censorship laws, etc). My first books of Yaoi manga is Finder (of course), Blue Sheep Reverie and Love Control. After that its become more and more books I collect with different Yaoi title and author. Without I realize it, now I become a Fujoushi....LOL
Unfortunately, in last 2-3 years, several publisher has been shut down. Whether because their business model fail to cater to the recent growing ebook boom, or other reason that I don’t (or fail to) understand. It's become more expensive to have a hard copy for several title >.<
For me, I don't like to buy an ebook because I love touching the paper and it makes me feel satisfied, good and happy too....Hehehehe
