Here's a quick and easy pattern you can draft yourself to Make your own cuddly PJs with feet!
Things to measure to draft these for your own pjs:
- circumference - Neck, chest, waist and hips
- Shoulders
- Shoulder to wrist
- Back of neck to crotch
- Inseam (measure to the floor)
- Tracing of your foot
Things to remember:
- ALWAYS add seam allowance 1-2 inches is good... I usually do about 3 so I have plenty of material to work with if it doesn't fit
- Remember... you can always take your pjs in if they are too large... if you cut them too small, you'll have to start all over again T_T
- If you have time, consider making a "test pair" out of cheap muslin or broadcloth. This will allow you to get the sizing right before making a pair with more expensive fabric. Once you get the perfect size from your test pair, you can trace them out on a piece of tracing paper so you will have a pattern to keep for next time ^_^
I made this pair for a friend:
