COOKIES
via saltatoria : The Gourmet.com website has compiled a list. A cookie for every year from 1940 to present. They are meant to represent the types of cookies most popular in their given decades. And of course they include the recipies. I'm not very good at baking, but I know some of you on my friends list are and might enjoy the list. Personally, I think 1980 takes my vote. First of all, it's bakeless...so I might even manage to get it right....and it includes one of the best of possible ingredients. Have a look.
Feeling better. stayed home from work again today. I think, honestly that this is the first time that I've taken more than one sick day since....I'm not sure when....at least since 2001. I guess I was due. Most of the nastiness is cleared up. Hopefully the weather will cooperate with my continued good health. That nonsense last night was not what I needed from Ma'am Nature.
