..To die by your side, the pleasure, the priveledge is mine..

Apr 13, 2004 10:45

I just made some surprisingly good popcorn. In our new popcorn-maker thingy my to-be mother-in-law bought. She always gets quirky shit like that. Easter was interesting. We had no less than six houses to visit, ended up at my dads eating pizza that night. Twenty billion easter baskets with more candy than I wish to think about consuming adorn the house. The best part about Easter- the six kinds of cheesecake in the fridge..although they didn't really stack up to the jello no-bake desi and I used to make. I miss Tea a lot too. I think as part of my bachelorette party, I'll have a passions party and I'll have desire come over and make cheesecake and tea before we start sampling toys and such.
The other good thing about Easter- it's spring, and something has come over me. You know what they say about bunny rabbits...I think it's mainly Joey. The way he whispers sweet nothings, the way the shadows fall on his angular jawline as he draws close to kiss me, the slight caress of fingertips over my skin-how we can completely relax with eachother while still anxiously awaiting a touch. How he'll hold me in his arms and converse for hours until we realize how late its become. It's even hard to leave each other for sleep, so we hold on as tight as we can, lips pressed together until we fall apart from exhaustion. How can I not want to be with him the rest of my life?
We tried discussing what our love felt like..and after many analogies and similies, we decided it could be talked about for years and never fully covered. Mainly, though, happiness.
I REALLY need to start planning out the wedding. If anyone has any ideas or would like to contribute in any way- PLEASE let me know. I've got a year or so, but I haven't even started anything yet. Joni (Joeys mommy) is going to make my dress, and I know I want it outside or at least not in some stuffy church that had nothing to do with my idea of religion. David, the coolest damn father-in-law any girl could ask for, suggested we take our vows on a boat. I never really thought about the many ways to get hitched. But I'm really just confused as of now. So any comments would be welcome. really really. ok. too many reallys.
