What is mono volume backpack? Mono volume backpack (usually called backpack "Bike Pants") - the know-how of Russian cyclists, which is a single large (40-100 liters) bag U-shaped of durable fabric, "sitting" on the rear trunk of the bike. In this case, the lower part of the backpack ("pant leg") tightly fit the trunk from the sides to about the level of the wheel axis, lowering the center of gravity and simplifying the reliable fastening of the backpack.
A distinctive feature of backpack "Bike Pants" - the ability to easily carry on the back in walking mode.
Mono volume backpack ideal for adventure style touring, where the backpack have to be regularly removed from the trunk for planting in transport or to overcome impassable sections of the road.
In addition, in the "Bike Pants" you can put something big, or rather long: for example, a tent. Many models of tents get into a backpack "Bike Pants" vertically. And you can't do such trick with three sectional backpacks.

TRACK-90 M2 - a new modification of the classic backpack with valve and tube, designed for Cycling trips of any complexity.
What did we add to this model?
- the ability to secure the feet to the uprights of the trunk;
- the valve closes at 4 fastex (previously 2).
Let us consider:

For a long time we did not backpack this mount, because its presence causes the need all the time to use it. Even when not. Otherwise the straps of the fasteners tend to fall into the spokes.
But finally we came up with a very logical design:
- sling for attaching the legs to the uprights of the trunk is made removable (we'll call it the mounting tape.);
- for this purpose, a sling is used for anti-skid straps of the backpack. I. e. it has a double function. In walking mode - for antiotkidov. In the bike - to secure the legs.And also you can not to use it in in both cases;
- in the stitching of the legs sewn buckle. One of them serves for engagement of a fixing sling. The second guide rail.
- to tighten the fastening straps used buckles on the outer surfaces of the paws of the backpack. These buckles are designed for the bottom sling straps to carry your backpack on your back. That is, if you decide to fix the legs to the racks of the trunk, the straps should be unfastened and put in a backpack.

The backpack TRACK 90 was done as a continuation of a series of TRACK-85/65, but with a focus on multi-day Autonomous trips. The main difference is that the backpack is closed not with a zipper, but with a valve. Tube, of course, there is.

Methods of attachment backpacks TRACK-65/85/90M
METHOD 1. Classical
Buckle and sling backpack attached to the front and rear of the trunk.
METHOD 2. On the fastex
With long slings, you can install the fastex and push the backpack to the trunk through the top, in girth. Bow sling width 25 mm. On the TRACK 45 this covers a wide sling, 40 mm, because it serves as a sling for carrying. And in order to press the backpack to the trunk - the width of the sling is not important. Webbing 25 mm works well - tested with the creation of the advantage of a backpack on one side of two bottles of water and drive over bumps. The backpack doesn't slide sideways.
METHOD 3. The top buckle
The method with fastex (Method 2) has one drawback - when you remove the backpack, you first need to bring the slings with fastex from under the trunk. If the parts of the fastex are not removed previously from under the trunk, it can happen this way: when the backpack is heavy and you remove it with a jerk - the parts of the fastex are sure to catch on the trunk or spokes. The bike will fall on you. Therefore, we have provided another way - fixing the sling to the top buckles.
The buckle can also be replaced with a fastex - so access to the backpack will be more convenient. And if it is necessary to remove the backpack from the trunk, just pull the long sling of the controller fastex, how out of the ordinary buckle.
METHOD 4. Fast
The front sling mounting need to install the fastex and webbing to secure the seat tube. For greater reliability, the back of the backpack can be fixed by method 1 or 3. The combination of 3 ways - on a fastex for the top buckle behind and 4 ways - a fastex for a seat tube - will allow to remove and fasten a backpack literally in two movements. At the same time, the fastening strength will be sufficient for any roads.
