Modus operandi
I had someone message me and ask if I would sell my journal to them since I haven't posted in a while. Pretty sad, huh?
Microblogging took over my world a few years ago. Twitter got my attention, and I really loved using it for a while. It's still a really useful tool; I find a lot of good links through Twitter. But Facebook is pretty much where I hang out, now. I have a Google+, too - and I kick around the idea of migrating from FB to G+, especially when FB keeps changing its format, but I never get around to it.
I think microblogging appeals to my laziness. There's minimal thought involved in composing 140/300-ish characters of text. And I post a lot of interesting links. I let other people do the talking so I don't have to, in a sense.
If you're interested in purchasing my LJ account, move along. I'm not selling. I have too many memories shored-up here, spanning the last decade, and I do post something every now and then.
