I just had to pause for a couple of seconds on the spelling of Wednesday. I must be tired.
Let's see, rain 6 yesterday, and 3 today...both at a pace slower than I'd like. Saturday's long run is up to 13. I feel really tired, and my quads are sore. I want to keep up with the training, but my body is telling me to rest. I won't skip any long runs, and I'm planning on doing tomorrow's 3...but if Friday doesn't make me feel a little more up and at 'em, I may skip my short run and/or cross training on Sunday.
I just assume that my diet has enough protein in it...maybe I should start tracking that, though. Not enough quality protein might be a cause of muscles not repairing themselves fast enough...right?
I cut up papaya and carrots today so I'll be totally set for healthy snacks for the rest of the week. I'm also debating starting to bring my lunch to work, 'cause the lunch they provide isn't too healthy. Well, it's fairly healthy, but the portions are huge and I'm not good at saying no. By "big" I mean 1000-1200 calorie lunches. Hmmm
