I've planned out my marathon training, and it includes a long day of running on Saturdays. I've always done my long runs on Sunday, but I think this will be a nice way to recover a little bit more from being tired before I'm face-to-face with the alarm clock on Monday morning.
Today I just did 5 easy miles, but that on top of the first week of school and who knows what else has combined to make me really, really sleepy. I actually took a nap this afternoon, something I rarely do, and feel like I'll be ready for a good 8+ hours tonight. So, no alarms tomorrow morning, I'll sleep as long as I want...hopefully it'll be at least 8 am before my body says no more!
Tomorrow I'm going to weigh myself, so I have an official, post-vacation number to work off of. I know I gained a little girth while away, we'll see how it's represented in numbers on the scale.
