tuesday with chocolate cake

Couple of bad food days (PMSy...), but I can feel good stuff coming.

Today I decided to take the first 10 minutes of my lunch break and go for a walk.  I normally just use those 10 minutes to pick at my food, so this put them to a better use.  It's been way too hot here to do that up until this last month or so...now I can do it without being covered in sweat.  Yay.  Also, today I had no unplanned snack attacks.  Just my breakfast, an apple and tea snack, a rather large (but planned) lunch, then a diet coke in the afternoon to keep me awake and dinner was a thank you to our Spanish teacher and I ate a bit too much, but I have decided that it was okay.  And not tooooo bad (strawberry/banana smoothie with ice and sugary yogurt, chicken breast on 1 slice bread, big salad and a piece of chocolate cake shared between four people).

Also did a QUICK 3 miler running today.  There's this one point where I time myself on my run.  I looked on google earth and it might be between .85 and .9 of a mile, but it's an inexact measure.  So, when it was hot and I was lazy my times on that section came out to 9:30 (or worse).  When I'm feeling fine, but not pushing myself it's around 8:40.  When I'm flying it's around 7:50.  Today it was 7:22.  That's cool for me.  Oh, and man I can't wait 'til I get my Garmin 305 (hecka sale, but now I have to wait for it to get from the US to Bolivia and I sure ain't using the postal system!!!).  It'll be fun to know how far I'm really going, and how fast!

Sleepy time now.

My house smells funny and I can't figure out why.  Off topic, but there it is.
