(no subject)
looked at 4 apartments and 1 rental house today:
rental house: in benson, old, smelly, scary
apartment 4: 35th & jones, just plain scary
apartment 3: 37th & jones, nice sized living room and bedroom, somewhat older kitchen & bathroom but nothing terrible, my own storage area in the basement for washer and dryer, garage included. it's just OK, i can paint the walls.
apartment 2: 30th & harney. awesome! completely renovated building, brand new stainless steel appliances, street parking (they are trying to work on leasing a nearby lot), the only downside is the narrow living room. by the time i get my couch, tv and coffee table there will no room.
apartment 1: 34th & dodge. again, awesome! completely renovated building, stainless steel appliances, street parking (but there is a creighton lot across the street which may or may not be legit), a little bit bigger of a living room. small 1-2 chair deck. some exposed brick in the living room and kitchen area! walking distance to the new midtown crossing!
i really like apartment 1! i came home and measured all of my stuff. i'm trying to set up another viewing. apartment 3 would also work but apartment 1 is more my style. it's hella cool! i'm trying not to get all worked up, nothing is set in stone. who knows, i may be moving the weekend of june 27th to OMAHA!!! movers? hey brian remember that one time i carried 8,000 bags of mulch for your landscaping? i'm just asking if you remember.
