To be 17 and stupid.
I hate my work but at least today I got a laugh. Last week the stupid,bitch at work started discussing what she had been told was a fantastic thing, 'Colonic Irrigation'. I could not believe my ears, I felt the need to squash this concept by saying 'oh you mean an enema'. This did not go down well. She discussed what it was and said it is herbal to which I said 'it's a laxative'.
Today she came into work saying that she had done 'colonic irrigation' with her boyfriends mum. I said 'so... your boyfriends mother gave you an enema' she glared at me and once again said it was herbal ( no.....it was a laxitive) She then talked about the amazing weightloss she was experiencing from doing this. To which I said 'so you are taking a laxitive for weightloss...that is called an eating disorder'.
I just don't understand the stupidity. Why do people feel the need to give an enema a new name to make it sound nice and fashionable?
