Explain what it means: Kola Qube was a character I used to do comic strips for back at 6th form when I had the time for such things. She was rather like me - on acid. I like cola cube sweets (but not Cola! I love the smell of it, I like Cola-flavoured things, but I don't touch the drink! Weird, huh.) and it looks pretty grooveh as one word, so there ye go. And we've learnt that I don't take kindly to kolaqube@aol.com nicking my until-now unique name. And having her sweary friends rant at me due to Identity Confusion.
2. The display name that you chose to use: "Computer Says No". I'm not even a particularly avid Little Britain fan or anything, but that one character cracks me up. I loves me some comedy quotes.
3. Explain how you picked / why you selected the user picture(s) that you have: All of my icons are currently made by myself, and are generally fangirly silliness. My default is Teh Olde now, isn't it? One year I've kept it! Because I have the only Todhunter icon on LJ. Because it's Red Dwarf. Because it's slash. And because it's daft. And some people like it, apparently. My other ones currently are: my favourite men, lovely miss Claire Grogan, Bathurst!arse, and myself.

5. Why do you have a Journal page? For every fanthomable reason. To squee, to rant, to vent, to pimp, to...babble. To practise Teh Writing Skills, and to find impossibly groovy people who like the same obscure things.
Do you have a Journal page for yourself, your friends, strangers to know you, and/or everyone? All of the above. Actually, a lot of offline friends don't know about it, so I guess it's more for online friends.
6. Why did you pick LiveJournal (LJ) over another service or handwriting? I always had my eye on Livejournal, back in the days where you had to pester another user for an account or pay. As you may or may not know, I started out on Mindsay (kolaqube.mindsay.com) before it went shite. It was simple, easy and funky. But then they started fiddling with it. When livejournal 'improves' it changes for the better. I migrated over here permanently mainly because I have a lot more friends on here and there's Teh Communities. I have had a handwritten diary, but it's updated once a century due to the fact I can never find a pen. And I live for comments because I'm an attention seeker or something.
7. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest) how well does your LiveJournal represent who you actually are? A curly 9, I think. You get all the best bits of me, with the whiny angsty bitchy bits scraped off. Mostly. I don't actually *know* how I really come across, though. I dread to think :p
8. How do you think your LJ represents you the most?
• Factually: I never lie, and I'm very open in such a public space, so very well. Plus I do Teh Personal Memes.
• Emotionally: A fair bit. I don't tend to post serious stuff on here too often, and it's usually Friends-Only, but again I'm generally very open about such things.
• Intellectually: Given that I do a lot of fangirly squeeing, and with my constant pisstaking of Netspeak, I have no idea about this one.
• Sexually: I'm not one to post about all the ins and outs (OOH. ER.) and gory detail, but then my life doesn't have that anyway. But I'm very open about my sexuality on here, and you do have my constant smut to contend with.
• Religiously: Do I ever talk about my religion? I don't think I've evr particularly talked about my religion on here, although you probably wouldn't want me to. I have a very complicated belief system.
• Artistically: I like to be creative, but I don't think I've posted much on LJ at all, unless you count my actual writing. My icons have never been too popular comments-wise, and I wouldn't want to blind your brain with my fiction attempts.
9. How much about your life do you post to LJ? About 70% perhaps. Probably less. I only post the stuff that particularly amused me or gripped me in some way, rather the majority of the mundane everyday monotony. I think it's mostly fangirly then. Again, I'm starting to *really* worry about my self image on here, lol!
Is there anything you refuse to post about? I don't really get all political on anyone's ass (can you guess my leanings though? Can ya?). Or any societal debate for that matter. I have very concentrated controversy :p I rarely post about specific offline people either. Because you never know!
10. On a scale of 1-10 how interesting do you think your own journal is to others? A 7? Hey, I dunno! I don't post anything I wouldn't find interesting.....but then that's very subjective. I think it's mildly interesting.
11. From who/how did you find out about LJ? I stumbled across it many moons ago. Possibly 2001. :p
12. Has anyone ever joined LJ because of you? I don't know. I think I might have inspired some people I've known from elsewhere but....I dunno.
13. How long have you been a member of LJ? Two years in April. I have no idea how long I was on Mindsay.
14. How often do you post to LJ? Rather frequently. Usually every other day now I'm at work. And three times in a day if you're lucky unlucky.
15. What proportion of your posts are friends only? About 10%. I reserve it for any really personal stuff. I don't actually like Friends-Only because a) I can't read them on my mobile or anywhere else where I can't sign in, and b) I like to draw in more people TEH ATTENTION SEEK.
16. What is your favorite interest on LJ? Coo, that's a tricky one. Possibly Red Dwarf, that's how I've found a lot of people. The 80s, fashion, FRUiTS and make up interests always bring up some groovy communities too.
One day I'll get Robert Bathurst's interest total up to 10 so he won't be so 'rare' ;)
17. What is your favorite community on LJ? Well slacken_ties is the only LJ community to be namechecked in a live concert on Radio 1, baby. And we all lament the passing of rightclicklick.
18. Have you ever learned anything new on LJ? Where do I begin?
19. Has anything on LJ ever caused you to establish, rethink, or even change your belief or position on something? I wouldn't go that far. But it's a great place for seeing both sides of the story when it comes to debates, and realising that no matter how weird your views on something, there's probably at least one person out there who agrees. Or even understands.
20. How often do you respond / comment on other peoples journals? As often as possible, as long as a post stirs anyw=thing within me. And the same for responses, as I love comments. I try to do it more often, but me so forgetful.
21. Do you prefer to write in your Journal, read other Journals, respond to others entries, or get responses to your entries? Ooh, all. I love to write, andMy F-List usually post good stuff that's a joy to read. But most of all I likes the interaction.

24. What is your favorite post you've ever made to LJ? Hmm. I think my Flist should vote really. My favourites don't really get much in terms of comments. Personally, looking back I liked my celebrity dream adventures (currently M.I.A), my bathroom picspam (even though tuxedos was more popular), my Actor Random 10 for research purposes, my Manchester Bomb story, and this post for the fact that I was clearly rather excitable and more drunk than I realised.
25. What is your favorite post you've ever read on LJ? Oh, where do I begin? There's been so much gold from my flist. slacken_ties have often provided pure comedy gold, especially when they combined Nick McCarthy and 'My Humps'. At last I was able to enjoy that song because of the wonderous mental image.

Still, the LJ friends I know the most, or the longest, or interact with/stalk most are: dracothelizard (first to friend me, yay!), liz_duncalf, melusinesara, miss_lancing, mysticheaven, roxulasbride, xylona, and yayster. But I genuinely love you all, Flist, I do!
35. How many of your LJ friends are your friends in real life? That depends on how you define 'real life'. Just the one - animalraw. But he's not really on LJ anyway :p

41. Who is your least favorite/most annoying LJ user or community? Well no one and nothing really because I avoid them like the plague if they irk me. Boringness is the only crime I ever really encounter on LJ.

I've been fortunate enough that many have added *me* because they already knew me when they joined, but I tend to find tnew LJ buddies through RD communities or suchforth. I love adding a weird interest to find someone else likes it too, that's a good way of finding yer soulmates.
43. Why are you most likely to add someone to your friends list? Usually because they share the same interests (the rarer the better!), and I like their journal entries. A lot of my friends list have great personalities that I'm very drawn to!
44. Do you automatically add friends to your journal if they add you first? I wouldn't say automatically, I check them out first. But I usually always add right back.
What is the most likely reason you wouldn't add someone to your friends list? If we had nothing in common.
