Hermione/Lister! *spits tea* Man, I'm going to dare to bet that no one has ever come up with that pairing in a month of Sundays. There's something really sweet about it - can't see them being on the same intellectual level though - but also mildly disturbing. I'd read it.
2. Do you think Four is hot? How hot?
How cunning, you've picked a lady. Not only that, a lady played by two different people just to be more controversial. Well, let's start with Kochanski No. 1. IMHO? She's very hot indeed. Cute, sweet, smiley, and a gorgeous Glasgow accent. Plus it helps that I've had a huge crush on Claire Grogan anyway. Now, Kochanski No.2. I have a big thing against actor swapping (took me years to get used My Parent's A re Alien's new Sophie and I love Carla Mendonca - but that's another fandom). So, bless you Chloe Annett, you were going to have to work hard to get me to like your Kochanski.
But a few (relucant) repeat viewing of Series VII and VIII later, and now I rather like her. Kochanski No.2 is so much posher and whinier than the original but a little bit hawt too. Even if she doesn't have the Pinball Smile.
3. What would happen if Twelve got Eight pregnant?
Now. Most would say 'Shouldn't that be the other way around?', but Brian *is* an alien - plus, hasn't he been pregnant before anyway? One of those rare cases in which mpreg is almost plausable.
Hmm. I can actually see it - I'm sure Laura would love a guy who'll make her laugh, although she may get a tad fustrated with him. Especially when he's the one having the baby.
4. Can you rec any fic(s) about Nine?
Where on Earth do I begin? I mean, *where*? Olay, well given that not much het pairing is possible on TEH DWARD, and seeing as I'm an ardent slasher anyway, most of my favourites tend to be slash. Or slash-y.
As for recs, love A Man More Sinned Against by Noydb (an alternative version of Justice), and Failure by mysticheaven. In fact, quite a few of myFlist pen some pretty darn good RD fic ;)
5. Would Two and Six make a good couple?
Snape/Hermione? Ah, melusinesara's favourite I believe! Well, firstly, this depends on whether we're talking post-Hogwarts Hermione (um, given that she survives obviously). There'll always be an age-gap, but it will determine how much dodgyness there's going to be here.
I think they'd make for an interesting and fairly compatible couple. Both intelligent and don't suffer fools gladly - and I'm sure Hermy prefers the older man.....
6. Five/Nine or Five/Ten? Why?
Grayling/Rimmer or Neil/Carol? Ah, I see what you've done there. Slash or het indeed. Actually, I know what Neil Grayling would prefer, given that he bats for the same team. If we were talking crossover fanfic, I could see Neil and Carol getting together in much the same way he got together with Di - except that unlike Bad Girl's PO, Carol isn't entirely psychotic. Um. But she needs someone, and Governor Gayling likes a good cover.

We could throw in some extras about Carol spying on him as he, er, utilises the Leisure Centre facilities (and no doubt flirting with the rest of the staff while he's at it - oh, I should had thrown Tim and Gavin in the list, we could have a field day).

Kochanski deflowering Brittas? That could take some serious plot devicing, but lemme see. Kochanski #1 is a lot more relaxed and she'd want Brittas to chill out and let loose, whereas I can see Kochanski #2 and Brittas getting into some bitchy disscussion about other people rearranging things (wonder where he keeps the salad cream?) and it all spinning off from there.
Can you tell yet why I generally shy away from writing fic? Fnah.

I don't know about anyone else on my flist having the urgent desire to read lots of smut about Red Dwarf's he-gives-awkward-speeches-about-stasis officer, but the aptly named todhunter has written some gorgeous slash in 'The Truth About Gazpacho Soup' and 'Black Hearts in the Red'. Mmm.
13. Does anyone on your friends list read Three het?
Captain Jack het? When there's every possibility of Jack slash? There's lots of fic on the Captain Jack community, but I think only a small amount of it actually pairs him with Rose. Still, prove me wrong if there's more het out there!

Given that a lot of Red Dwarf fic involves Lister/Rimmer, Lister pretty much comes into it a lot. mysticheaven's, for example. And I know dracothelizard likes a bit of Lister/Cat (ah, the icon!). As for drawing, yayster's pokemon RD crossover artwork is amazing.

Snape/Kochanski/Grayling? I think I can safely say no. But if anyone wants to cook up a threesome involving a potions teacher, navigation officer and prison governor....

Bless, I wonder what Carol *would* scream. If indeed, she'd scream at all. I'm sure she would. Just because she has problems uttering sentences normally when Brittas is in the room, doesn't mean that she's not prone to suddenly letting her emotions get the better of her. Well, for Snape to work his charms on Carol, I think it's going to have to be a pretty damn good line. Can't see Sevvy being all direct, and there's a high chance he'll scare Carol straightaway. We know she doesn't like being snapped at. So as long as Snape plays it cool, remembers to be nice, it doesn't matter about the actual words with that voice of his. How about that potions speech he'd obviously scripted? It managed to turn the female population of a cinema into jelly, I'm sure it'll work on Carol.

I've yet to read Grayling fic, actually. I'm sure it exists, especially after his bed-hopping antics with Bobby Darin.
