(no subject)
Wow, my first public entry for a month. Yikes. I'm back North, for those who haven't friended me. You haven't missed anything....
Hope y'all had a happy Halloween (or, indeed, Hallowe'en ). And if you didn't, well, my apologies. Ours was rather dull. We had a big bowl of treats and only two trick or treat calls, LOL. When you're prepared, they don't come. Meanwhile, everyone thinks I was in costume when I wasn't... yet. Erk. I always wear vinyl dresses and bat necklaces. That's just me (lack of) style.
In other news, am still working on the novel, and so unoffically I am joining in with Nanowrimo. I can't officially join in, apparently, cos that's CHEATING. But... I'm aiming for 85, 000 words! And at this rate I'll Never Ever Get There. I'm not in character introduction mode anymore, but I am in character development and plot background mode and it's being far too tricky. My main character is the closest I've ever got to a Mary Sue, which is worrying because I currently feel like I have to explain why she is 'how she is', i.e a bit irritating, whiny and very difficult. Paging Dr Freud.
I don't know about Kent, but it's really cold Oop North.
