I know it's 5am.

Went into London again today, to try and do that birthday out thing I promised myself a week ago or something.  Although more importantly,
mysticheaven's card arrived and it is full of win unlike the useless Royal Mail who SHAME THE ENTIRE COUNTRY.

Got lost. Again. I can't ever find Covent Garden on purpose but I can easily find myself there when I least expect to. There was this couple in front of me at Oxford Circus (see how I get about!) and the boyfriend was obviously very unimpressed because he was going to his missus, "I'm not listening to *your* directions again! I *knew* we should have took that road! I don't know *where* we are now!". Probably why I'm single, lack of direction.

Played sardines at Leicester Square which seems a million times more crowded than Charing Cross. A group of Americans in front of me obviously weren't prepared either, very much "OH MY GAWSH!" whenever another soul tried valiently to squeeze on the tube.

Ended up in a conversation with a Buddhist monk in Covent Garden, as you do. He seemed to take a shine to me, but then it was his lucky day because a) I'm at least into all that spirituality lark and b) I'm the kind of foole who actually allows myself to get stopped by people in the street. I couldn't donate much but he gave me loads of books on vegetarian cooking and self-enlightenment anyway. I've been promised success and fulfillment. So yeah.

Obviously couldn't afford to actually buy anything of significance, but spent some time in Topshop trying crazy dresses on anyway. And bought some goodies at Cyber Candy, which is the most amazing place evur. It's just down the road from a certain Arts Theatre too, so I was very tempted to pop in and see Robert again, but it would have meant hanging around in the bar for ages trying to do so. Alright if you've got someone to chat to and drink with, not so good on your own with no other purpose. So I settled for wandering past and ahhing at the big poster of his visage. In the rain. Although I did see someone who looked rather like him at the station afterwards. Round about the time he might get a train to home. Same train as me. Yeah I know, missed opportunity. Probably not for him.

And finally, LJ keeps *bothering* me about my-due-to-expire-any-minute account. Is it worth renewing, given LJ's moments of quietness this year? It's picking up lately, but then I said that just before I paid for it... As it were.
