okay I say this weeks, tbh its just something that's happened over the past 2 days, and I know I havent updated in a long time.
so it starts like this.
Yesterday a friend posted a chapter of their story onto facebook and I thought I would be a REAL friend.
(considering most of their friends are 12 year olds after booze and the person in discussion is 24 and only plys these kids with drinks in the hopes of getting laid)
So, Being the butally honest person everybody accepts me for. I deceided to help them by offering my assistance by checking his spelling and editing some of the story so it actually made sense. Voluntary editing, if you will, and giving them some constructive critisism, nothing offensive and I quote all I said was:-
"(I only edited the final paragraph, you did a good job otherwise, but it could do with some tweaking, add Description before action, action before words. shorten the sentences, some of them are a little bit too long. but all in all a good job. d(^_^)b )"
now please tell me how that is offensive? if you'd have seen the original in comparison to the edit even the most intelectual literature student would agree that i made an improvement. and they would agree with the critisism.
but my rant is more at the person in discussions sibling who was audatious enough to say "Or maybe use Google or the dictionary in my room chris. Less hassle, you learn for yourself and people wont be too harsh to you without thinking how it will affect you. And also best not to publish your book on facebook till it has been finished lol not being mean just saying you never saw any of these famous author's publish their writings online to be spell checked by people that have nothing better to do, but still i think it has alot of potential :)"
the main part that i found especially offensive was
" Less hassle, you learn for yourself and people wont be too harsh to you without thinking how it will affect you"
now please will someone explain to me how I was offensive? if my critisizm wan't constructive what was it?
not too offensive and not too soft, I think I did a good job on that criticizm.
I think its because me and the other person in discussion have a history since I broke up with them after over 2 months of a relationship, but i'm still friends with their sibling who is the author in question. am I not allowed to help a friend or do I have to join the ex in keeping the friend in a bubble where nobody could possibly harm you?. I'm sorry but thats the most impossible thing, mind you the Ex is hitting thirty and still lives at home with his aunts.
those of you who know who i'm talking about understand what i'm talking about.
AND!
"you never saw any of these famous author's publish their writings online to be spell checked by people that have nothing better to do,". Yes I DO have nothing better to do, but at least i'm nice enough to fucking point it out you knob-faced cock muncher!
urghhhhhhhhhhhhhh call me what you wan't 'cause at the end of the day theres a reasong I broke up with you, and you've enforced my opinion that it was the best decision of my life.
I may not have anything better to do, but at least i'm a nicer person than you, a more honest person than you, and a damn right more sociable than a twat who thinks he's the dogs-bollocks.
