...Strong? I can't say I brushed up on my Soviet Union history before coming here, but...

Let's see, the Soviet Union had the Olympics in 1980, but sixty-something countries boycotted it. It was pretty much a joke. The Union invaded Afghanistan, but got stalemated. As for the government and the economy, it's pretty much going down the tube.

I'd say it's about as strong as a sick cow on its last legs.
