They can't help it... They're not used to this.

Children should become used to it quickly then. It is what town wants, Да?

I don't know what this town wants from us anymore. It seems like all they want to do is make us... suffer.

That you are used to this pain does not entitle you to mock those who are not, Russia.

Do you think it helps to say same thing over and over, little Titania? They are doing nothing but making themselves hungrier.

Would you have them suffer in silence? 'tis only natural for the hungry to cry out for food.

...And my name is Cornelius.

The louder they cry, the more others realize they have nothing to give them, Да? As I said, it is something Russia knows well.

...Ivan.

...Perhaps start with unplugging phone lines from houses so we cannot hear them.

Leave them for now. We may need them later, Да? They are useful when not used for whining about situation that can not be changed.

Alright, so is this why you were saying somebody was calling you an alcoholic the other day? You're a, uh, energetic drunk.

kol_shevik July 20 2009, 06:06:03 UTC
I am not alcoholic! And I have alot of practice, Да? And head hurts for other reasons mostly.

Eh? Wel, it's to be expected. Not all the kids here have had training like I had back with Teacher. I don't think I will ever forget that month....

So not everyone is used to not having food readily available when they are hungry. People can survive without it and only on water for a certain period, but it wouldn't be pleasant.

Expected, Да. That is why I am telling them.

You don't think I know this, little comrade? Wallpaper paste, vodka made in bathtubs, dogs, gelatin from rotten meat, each other-...you are not hungry enough yet to complain.

Who cares about vodka at a time like this?!

...Well, I am sure we can get through this. We just have to try and conserve our energy and try make sure everyone gets some food, in rations or something so we save some for later and hopefully make it last till they give us the food back.

I am surprised you don't, товарищ.

Mm, I am sure a few will make it, Да. Do you think shouting about being hungry all day is conserving energy? Is silly. You are so positive because you are one of children to break into stores, Да?
