SEATTLE -- Police have arrested a man who kicked in the door at a north Seattle home and fired a shot into the floor.
Spokeswoman Renee Witt says it happened around 3 a.m. Tuesday, and the man was wearing a bulletproof vest and a jumpsuit similar to ones worn by King County sheriff's deputies.
The resident of the home says the man was looking for someone who no longer lived at the address.
The intruder fled in a black Humvee that police stopped in a dead-end street. Officers made the arrest and seized a rifle and handgun. Two other men at the scene also are being questioned.
Witt says the man also had two Yorkshire terriers in the car.
