(no subject)
I went on a camping trip this weekend... well, most of the weekend. I went out there Saturday early afternoon till Sunday evening. The rest of the family was/is going to be there from Friday morning through Monday morning. Even though I was frying my ass off in 100 degree temperatures, I had a good time. Basically we went out to Temecula, out into the countryside at a campsite and had a weekend out. My aunts and uncle were there, along with a few cousins, their kids, etc etc. Basically about 10-15 random family members at various times :P It was a fairly typical camping trip. Nothing major... BBQ here and there, sunny days, swimming (tho I didn't go :P), sleeping out in the tent, and frying in the heat. Major event though was the birthdays. This month is my cousin's, 2nd cousin (err what's your cousin's kids in relation to you?), and my birthdays, so the extended family all kind of had a general get together for us all. Course all of it mainly revolved around my lil cousin's birthday. She'll be 2 this month. Of course not that I mind either, fact my birthdays became nothing major a long time ago :P But still alot of fun.
The main highlight of the weekend though was spending some time with my cousin's kids. They're so adorable. I hope some day my kids are like them, because every time I see them, I'm amazed. There's two daughters, 4 and going to be 2, and a son, who's about 7 months now. Every time I see the little girls, I have to kind of work back into their lil circle of sorts. I don't get to see them enough and Saoirse especially is a little shy. They're very loving little girls though. And Tristan (uh I think that's how you spell it...), the little boy), this was the first time I've met him actually. He's very cute, though a lil fussy at times, though that's to be expected cause he's so young still.
I'll post some pictures of the weekend somewhere for some of you to check out. For now though, I'm tired. It's 1am and I have work tomorrow. I shall see everyone later!
