Back from the dead...
Yeah, you guys probably figured out why I've been away for two weeks without any word...if you didn't, it's because of *cough*MIDTERMS*cough*. Meh, sounds like an excuse but i unintentionally tend to shut myself in and stay away from the internet until my exams are over. It kinda helps me not to give in to temptation and really focus on my studies. I've also got a ton of homework before the midterms so that didn't help me a whole lot. Sometimes I'd rather not do anything, even go online, because i feel so tired. Man, this really sounds like a butt load of excuses and I'm pretty good at it. ARGH.
Anyway, I really apologize to those who might have been worried about my absence, if anyone's worried at all. IF you weren't worried, then that's great cos I'd feel less bad about it. If you were a bit pissed off with me not replying to your comments or journals, feel free to vent because you deserve it. I'll reply to A LOT of the comments and new replies I've got. I'll also look through my journal and try to comment on the MANY posts i missed out on.
Just to warn you, this part is a tad serious/sad, so you can skip to the next paragraph if you don't like reading tense stuff.
....I don't think I want to bring this topic up ever but I want to let my thoughts in. I just feel really useless and hopeless that I can't help my friends in anyway, mostly because I have nothing constructive to say to either party. I usually end up saying stupid and the fact that it's already long been over makes it more important that I shut up. I won't take sides, it doesn't resolve anything at this point, but I will say that letting the issue drop FOR GOOD might have been the best decision. Sure it looks like running away but I would have done the same if it would just end everything and let everyone move on. Some of my friends have chosen to stay quite a distance away from each other (for a lack of a better way to tactfully put it) and I'm fine with it. I can still contact either party but it would be really really really sad not seeing them together in one place chatting like nothing ever was wrong. Also, this part is not to bring the matter up again so if there's anyone involved that wants to say something about, note me. Again, I won't take sides but i wouldn't mind seeing what each side has done.
This is nothing serious but i cut my right index finger a few days ago, about two days before my ECON200 exam and I kinda panicked a tinsy wee bit. I was wondering how the hell I was gona write with the finger i constantly, well obviously, depended on. Well, turns out i still write decently without it using my middle finger. Same goes for typing but it's very weird typing with my injured finger raised the way it is. lol. I can still draw too, thank God cos I panicked about that too, but not as accurately. :cries: Which means, I am really reall really sorry to IrrerasableSin who has commissioned me 7 drawings, but I'm afraid there will be a delay. I really really wanted to work on some drawings after midterms and now i can't....sketches are doable but nothing more intensive. TT_____TT
On a totally different note, my cousin got me into a series called "Dresden Files" and it's hella interesting. It's a fantasy magic show mixed with CSI...something we call Wizarding CSI. Basically the main character is a wizard who helps solve crimes magically involved. Not much over-the-top spells but there's a lot of concept and information behind it. It's based on a novel series so I might pick it up if I see it in a bookstore. It's also available on Netflix but I don't know if you can buy the DVD. Anyway I recommend it but it seems they only made one season, which is a shame i think bec. it's a very good show, a good balance of sci-fi, action, and drama. Probably better than that Vampire diaries or whatever vampire ripe-off show is out there, but hey i can't judge if i haven't watched it right?
Oh and a few more things...IROOOOOOOOON MAAAAAAAAAN 2!!!! I wana watch!!! Also Kick-Ass!, since I've been hearing good reviews. It might be to bloody and vulgar but I think I can handle it.
Tomorrow, me and my brother have to check out this Japanese buffet restaurant called Bluefin Sushi. We're going to try this place's food because my family wanted a place to celebrate after our graduation and we just LOOOOOOVE japanese food. Expensive as heck but maybe the quality is also way up there. Maybe we can also get a sepcial graduation discount, who knows. I'm just excited cos well it's obvious i love japanese food. XD
Well, anyway....hope you guys are doing well, especially those who've also just taken their midterms. ^_^;;
