You DRIVE me crazy
Sorry for the absence and late replies (which seems to happen lately), we had a tiresome car-hunting weekend and we finally got ourselves a deal we actually don't feel like we've been cheated on, at least as far as we know. We went to FOUR dealerships, only to have discovered in the last dealership that we were most likely being mislead (or left out wold be better) by the other three delearships. To be frank, I felt bad for our uncle since he had to sort out almost all the details for us and we had to stay hours to 'haggle' with managers. In the end, I guess it was worth it, but I wouldn't know. We did treat our uncle to dinner for his time and efforts.
The car is going to be a white (I would have preferred red but my dad wants our car to be most visible at night) Honda Civic DX-VP and our first and very own car! I'm very happy yet very nervous! I never liked driving without someone with more experience with me all the time. This means we (me and my brother) have to get our license and insurance ASAP, because at the moment, our uncle is 'owning' it in his name. Of course, we'd rather have it in our name directly but being first time buyers disqualifies us immediately, not that we aren't good buyers but we don't have the necessary papers or income to support it. As a result, our uncle has become the primary owner for the mean time. He'll also test it out and note any inconsistencies in the car's performance. The only problem is the time since exams and midterms aren't that far away...Well, it'll work out somehow and we'll send payments to our uncles so none of the money comes of it pocket essentially.
Speaking of payments! Here's a man who didn't get to settle his with his friends from the other side!
