(no subject)
it's freezing in my house. really, it's 60, but it feels pretty damn cold. and I can't turn on the heat because the pilot lights aren't lit yet and dave's the one who knows how to light them. last week I had my air conditioning on. I'm pretty sure there are supposed to be a few weeks in there somewhere when I don't have to do anything in particular to get my house to a tolerable temperature. we have a bunch of firewood at my brother's house (he and dave cut up a tree that my mom had had cut down and we're splitting the wood)...need to go get a bunch of that. I think it will look very appealing to have a big stack of firewood by the front door when people come to look at our house, too. heck, the thought of it makes ME want to stay here (actually, lately, a lot of things make me want to stay here, but I've decided it's largely because I'm reaching that end of pregnancy want to stay home all the time phase, and it will probably pass by the time I actually need to move. I hope).
