Here Comes The Sun.

Bah, I've been neglecting this, but this would have been filled with useless drivel and angst on my part. See, I've been in and out of doctors' offices and hospitals over the past few months (bad case of walking pneumonia and red bloody-looking stuff coming from orifices that it shouldn't). Then my oldest son was diagnosed with asthma. And well ( Read more... )

My oldest will be 10 this year, and it's difficult to realize that he'll be a teenager soon (he's learning sex ed this year...although he already knows where babies come from)!
That might be the difference between boys and girls...my daughter knows all about it, she learned it in school three years ago plus she has her period for more than a year now...

Is that the Get Back Sessions or the Rhine Tapes? I know that the ATMP recording I have came from the Rhine Tapes, but the two songs I mentioned that I want to find supposedly came from the Get Back Sessions.
It is the River Rhine Tapes... I highly recommend them.

Maybe this are the Get Back sessions? Bootlegs are always published under different names...Have a try, I am sure this is right.

Danke schön, alles ist gut! kokoro_no_yami January 19 2009, 17:46:54 UTC
Actually, the one song is listed under the same name on the RRT; found it on that bloglink you sent me. It's a John song called Let It Down (dammit, this was so pretty, it should've made it out to the masses), but this version on the RRT had singing to go with it, yay!

The other song is on there, too, I think -- labeled as Paul's Piano Piece; on the guy's recording, it was given the name In The Castle Of The Cloud King. It's a beautiful little piece, too.

Thanks again for that link! I'm hearing a few other gems on there, like Child of Nature (so glad that became Jealous Guy) and Friendship ("if you're ever in the shit, grab my tit" and "our friendship will always be hot" are hilarious). I swear in one of the Dig A Pony outtakes, John sings "I dug a bony" and "you can syndicate any bone you rode". Maybe it's my bad hearing!

Lol...when I got the e-mail notification with the German headline I thought "wow!". Glad it worked for you. I have a BIG bootleg list and I normally know where to get more, if you need something just let me know!

Aw, my German is so rusty. I had four years of it in high school. It was my way of "getting to know my heritage" since I'm of German descent (my maiden name is Richter).

Anymore bootlegs you know of, let me know. The only ones I'm aware of are the ones in the link you sent, and of course, the Anthology stuff.

I would, but I'm sure it's probably my terrible hearing!

Oh, that Let It Down song...I listened to it on my iPod with Vocal Boost on, and I made a mistake -- it's a George song, not John. It's still a beautiful song. So bluesy! It's obviously from the later years because I'm sure I hear Billy Preston on the organ in the background.

Thanks again for the help! :D

*coughs* eh, I have some...(now I feel like that man in SesameStreet who wants to sell a letter to Ernie..."hey you, wanna buy an A?")rofl

Take a look at my list....they are listed separately, you have to scroll down under that dots after "comedy"...:
http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=ddjtcpjb_0fk82s9hh
I listed all my Beatles tapes I have....bootlegs start with "collections"
There might be some doubles, but they have different names so I took them and found out later. John's bootlegs are listed among his normal tapes and Paul has his own section. Take a look, if you want to know what they are about go to http://www.bootlegzone.com/ ...they have a description of most of the songs.
Let me know, what I can do for you then....when I still know where I have the bootleg you requested from, I will give you the link, else I will upload it to my private files for you.
